Steve McGarrett Played by: Alex O'Laughlin
Steve McGarett is a decorated naval officer who is multilingual, and due to his intelligence and special ops background, he is well-connected to high ranking officials in the United States Navy and the CIA, which he has used to his advantage on several occasions. He came back to Oahu to find his father's killer and ends up in charge of an elite police task force known as "Five-O." Prior to his father's murder, he served on a Black Op with his best friend, Freddie Hart, but the mission went south and Hart was killed; his body was not recovered for three years when Steve personally flew to North Korea to oversee the repatriation. A year later, he admits to Lou Grover that after Hart's death, the Navy "didn't feel the same" anymore and that he jumped at the chance to leave when Governor Jameson asked him to set up the task force. Steve is close partners with Danny Williams, the two of them have a love, hate relationship but thick as thieves and work great together. |

"Danno" Williams Played

Detective Sergent Danny Williams is
an experienced police detective originally from New
Jersey. He married Rachel Edwards and they had a
daughter name Grace. They later get divorced because she
couldn't handle the life of beings a cop's wife and
remarried businessman Stan Edwards and moved to Hawaii.
Danny was left with no choice but to follow them to
Hawaii for fear of losing visitation rights to Grace.
Upon arriving on Hawaii, Danny subsequently joined the
Honolulu Police Department, partnering with Detective
Meka Hanamoa. He was assigned to the murder
investigation of John McGarrett. This brought him into
conflict with John's son, Lieutenant Commander Steve
McGarrett who sought to personally investigate the crime
himself. Danny later joined the Five-O task force being
appointed as the second in command of the team and
Steve's partner in the field.

Chin Ho Kelly
Played by: Daniel Dae Kim
Detective Chin Ho Kelly, is an ex-member of the Honolulu Police Department and protégé of McGarrett's father, who left the force after being falsely accused of corruption. He grew up and the island and has the spirit of Aloha and is a little more laid back than everyone else on the team. Chin is exceptionally skilled in weaponry and technology, his skills a close second to Steve's. He is very protective of his cousin Kono. |

Kono KalakauaPlayed by: Grace Park
Kono Kalakaua was born and raised in Hawaii and was recruited by the CEO of Coral Prince Surfing, Ian Adams. She blew her knee during a surfing tournament, causing her to be unable to compete professionally ever again and marked the end of her surfing career. While recovering she decided to follow in the footsteps of her cousin Lieutenant Chin Ho Kelly and became a cop entering the HPD Police Academy. She can take care of herself and is eager to learn and willing to dive headfirst into the most complicated situations to do so. Her spunk defies her experience and makes her a reliable member of the group. |

Lou Grover Played by: Chi McBride
Lou Grover is a twenty-five year old veteran of the force and born and bred in Chicago. After graduating from the Chicago Police Academy in 1989, he was recruited by the FBI to go undercover in the Philadelphia Black Mafia.Grover served as the captain of the Honolulu Police Department's SWAT team before retiring from his position and being recruited to the Five-O task force. |

Dr. Max Bergman Played by: Masi Oka Max Bergman was given up for adoption by his birth mother and subsequently adopted by the Bergmans. His real mother was killed by Deacon MacKenna, a serial killer known as the Trashman. Unknown to Max, his mother returned for him years later, wanting to know how he was and where he was now that she had her life together and could take care of him. He is a doctor and also the Chief Medical Examiner for both the Honolulu Police Department and the Hawaii Five-O task force. |

Jerry Ortega
Played by: Jorge Garcia
Jerry Ortega Jerry loves a conspiracy theory and has fifteen boxes of "proof" that Area 51 houses aliens and was voted "Most likely to be abducted by aliens" in high school. He became a permanent member of the Five-O task force, helping them out with the technological parts of the job. |
